3 Foods High in Zinc (Volume 1)
3 Foods That Are High in Zinc (Volume 1)
I’ll be honest with you.
The first time I ever heard of the mineral Zinc was from a Centrum vitamin commercial.
You know the commercial tagline:
“From A to Zinc.”
Remember that?
I had no idea what Zinc was, but I figured, even at a young age, just from the company promoting it, that it was some sort of vitamin or mineral.
And I was correct.
You see, Zinc is one of those minerals (they call it a chemical element as well) that is necessary, in small amounts, for human health, growth, and sense of taste.*
And, although it is needed for things such as wound healing, thyroid function, blood clotting, and immune function in the body, those are small potatoes compared to how important Zinc is for your vision.* However…
…one interesting thing about Zinc is that it is found throughout the body. The only problem with that is that the human body doesn’t store an excess of it.*
Yeah. Sucks for us Lol.
So, due to this, Zinc has to be gotten through dietary means. And that’s where our video comes into play.
This video below shows three fantastic foods that you can incorporate into your diet that have a higher concentration of Zinc.
